2001 Lincoln LS Intake Manifold Installation Procedure :
1. If removed, set up the gaskets.
2. NOTE: Guantee that the throttle body heater return hose is positioned between the warmth defend and the consumption manifold. Install the intake manifold and tighten the bolts within the sequence shown.
3. Set up the Delta PFE sensor. Install the sensor and the bolts. Join the electrical connector. Connect the hoses.
4. Connect the RH fuel injectors and position the engine wiring harness.
5. Connect the hoses (1) and install the hose within the clip (2).
6. Connect the crankcase ventilation tube. Connect the IAC valve and TPS electrical connectors.
7. Join the LH gasoline injector connectors and position the engine wiring harness.
8. Install the bracket. Set up the bracket and nuts. Set up the hose.
9. Install the bracket and the nut.
10. Set up the electrical connectors on the bracket. Set up the LH KS connector. Install the CHT sensor connector.
11. Connect the fuel line. Connect the vacuum connector to the gasoline strain sensor.
12. Connect the gasoline strain sensor electrical connector. Join the evaporative emission canister purge valve line.
13. Join the CMP sensor electrical connector and position the connector on the fuel injection provide manifold. Join the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
14. NOTE: EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube is removed for clarity. Install the EGR valve. Set up a brand new gasket and the valve. Set up the 2 bolts.
15. Tighten the tube. Connect the vacuum line. Join the vacuum hoses. Join the accelerator and speed control cables.
16. Install the engine compartment brace. Install the cowl vent screen. Install the air cleaner outlet tube. Join the battery ground cable.
17. CAUTION: The cooling system filling and bleeding procedure should be followed exactly or harm to the engine could occur. Fill and bleed the engine cooling system.
